No public downloadable demo is confirmed in the reviewed sources as of 26 October 2026. Event builds are reported separately; an August PlayStation Store listing rumor was never confirmed by Sony or S-GAME.
Public downloadable demo status
PC Games reported on 13 October that no free demo had been released. The official 17 August State of Play was a gameplay deep dive, not a public demo announcement. The reviewed materials therefore support “none confirmed as of this snapshot,” not a publisher guarantee that no demo exists or will ever appear.
A fan guide reports that a PlayStation Store demo page appeared around 11 August and was later removed. It also says Sony and S-GAME never confirmed the listing; treat it as an unverified report, not evidence that a public build was available.

Event hands-on is not a public download
The fan guide describes event-only builds, including a roughly one-hour Gamescom Latam 2026 session with eight main weapons and five Phantom Edges. Those figures are guide-reported and apply to that event build and access window, not to a downloadable trial.
Fextralife’s October 2026 video transcript independently says the creator played a little at Gamescom, but it does not verify the guide’s session length or item counts.

Platform and future availability
- No confirmed public download or access period is listed for PS5 or PC in the reviewed official sources.
- No announcement either way establishes whether a demo will arrive after launch.
- Do not treat a trade-show build, media session or removed store-page rumor as a generally available demo.
